Finding the Willpower

Willpower. I don't have it.

The End.

I learned this past week that I have a hard time saying NO to food. Remember that Good-Bye dinner for my friend? Well, instead of going to the restaurant with the amazing desserts she chose this really good pizza place in town. I was fully prepared when we walked in, I had reviewed the menu online and decided I was going to order the grilled chicken salad with the lite balsamic vinaigrette. Good choice, right? Then the next thing I knew, wine was being ordered, coupons were being pulled out and eventually this is what our table looked like...

There were only 3 of us...I'm Ashamed!

Oh, but it didn't stop there! Last Thursday was Bub's Valentine's Party at school and I may have indulged in a mini cupcake and chocolate fondue. And then Friday we have a Valentine's cookie decorating playdate at our house where more cupcakes and cookie were consumed. We ended the week eating at our favorite Mexican restaurant. I told you, absolutely no willpower!

On the bright side, I did get to the gym a few times this week and despite all my indulgences, I still managed to loose 1 lb, which I am extremely happy with. I would like to say that this next week is going to be easy peasy with staying on track, but unfortunately that is not the case. We have Birthday parties (3 to be exact) and a Girls Night Out with one of my besties. So that just means I have to be super conscience of all my food decisions and get my hiney into the gym more!!

Goals for this week:
- Drink more water
- Increase days at gym
- pack snacks

Weight Loss to Date: -4lbs

Oh I totally have no will power. Which was fine when I lived alone. I simply didn't buy bad/fattening foods or have them in my home. Now? I am married to a man w/a terrible sweet tooth, who complains if those foods are not in our house. Not good for me! :( Funny that he always blames my cooking for his weight gain, though. LOL

I need more willpower too. That is something I've been working on lately because I am ready to lose this baby weight.
