Family Time

Saturdays have become quite routine in our household. Wake up, make breakfast, sometimes head out for lunch, lounge around the house and then make dinner. Party Animals...I know! But yesterday we decided to switch things up a bit and head out for some family time.

We did start out day out like always with some cinnamon raisin french toast and eggs...yummers! Next we headed to the gym for a little family workout time. The kids played hard in the kid zone, while the hubs and I built up our muscles...or a least for me, tried to get rid of some of that flab! After the gym we loaded up the car and drove to the beach. No, for all you Jersey Shore fans, we weren't trying to get our tan on, it's still quite chilly here in FL. We did decide to do a little seashell hunting though...

  Bubs had a great time building sandcastles, playing football and running up and down the shoreline. A certain someone else had a great time too, although I think she was a little cold.

While the boys got their energy out, Mom and Buggy spent our time watching the birds and doggies...she kept saying "see puppy". Cutest thing Ever!!

We finally decided that we were all freezing and thought it would be a good time to head to dinner. Just up the road from the beach is a cute little restaurant called TacoLu. A friend of mine introduced me to this little gem last week and I brought some home for the hubs and it was all we could think about all week! They are known for their variety of taco's...it's simple, fresh and delish!! Seriously, if you are ever in N FL, you should check it out!

Since we weren't ready to end out Family Day, we decided to head to the frozen Yogurt place across the street. This place was awesome! They had a bunch of fun games including Super Mario Bros on old school Nintendo, put put, and bunch of old board games. They also had a list of things that you could do to get a discount on your order. Well, like I mentioned earlier, I love a bargain, so I narrowed it down to flying around the restaurant making an airplane noise for 20 seconds or getting a stamp on my forehead.

It was an amazing day and something we decided we'll be doing more often!!
