Happy 1st Birthday Bugs!

Dear Buggie-Boo,
Happy 1st Birthday baby girl! We celebrated your big day last weekend, with a huge Ladybug Bash! All of your best friends were there and you were quite the hostess. You made your way around the room smiling and playing with all your guests and even gave out a few hugs good-bye at the end of the day. Daddy and I are amazed at the little lady you are already turning into.

It seems so cliche to say that "it's hard to believe that a year has passed already", but to be honest, it's true! It does seem like just yesterday that the doctor handed me my perfect, freshly-baked baby girl. And yet now, I watch as you teeter around the house, with your adorable pigtails, playing with your big girl toys and showing us your baby, or "ba" as you like to call her. I should be sad at how quickly you are growing up, but really, it just excites me! Being able to stay home with you for most of your 1st year of life, has been my greatest joy. I have been able to witness all your firsts, to kiss your boo-boo's and dry your tears. I have also been blessed to see the growing relationship you have with your "bub-bubs". You love him so much, following him around all day, laughing at all his jokes and you even let him play with some of your toys...although you do let him know who's boss!

Sweet Girl, please know the special place you hold in my heart. God has blessed your daddy and I with such a precious gift and we will cherish you everyday.  And as I watch grow bigger and more independent I will cheer on each accomplishment and look forward to the next. But please know, that at the end of the day as I hold you in my arms and kiss your chubby little cheeks, you always will be my BABY GIRL!

Love you Bugs! Happy Birthday!!

Ladybug Party! (WARNING: Picture Overload)

Saturday we celebrated Bug's 1st Birthday!!
It was an amazing day, filled with friends, family, yummy food and tons of fun.

Bugs had a blast being the center of attention, and despite the fact that the party fell right during nap time she was full of smiles and giggles!! She is definitely her mama's girl!

The months spent planning were definitely well worth it.
And I would like to say Thank You to everyone who pitched in to help and those who had to deal with my craziness. The party was a HUGE success and since technically Bug's Birthday is not
until Friday, we will be partying all week long!!

Please enjoy a few  some a ton of pictures from our Ladybug Bash!
